Here we go again, the weather ain't perfect tomorrow but it's good enough to give it a go. I'm quite apprehensive as its effectively a big open crossing due to the tidal mudflats that can extend upto a mile from the shore.
I could if needed head for land near the 2nd Severn bridge but after that the tide will start ebbing & I'll be committed to reaching Cardiff. That's why I'm being cautious as I'm paddling solo too.
I'll be heading out from the Bridge Street Bridge in Chepstow at 9AM tomorrow morning. I will check the forecast one last time in the morning but unless it deteriorates I'll be good to go.
Fingers crossed & dont forget to track my progress...
