Smack My Bitch Up...

A very messy surf session at Aberavon beach. The forecast was for 7½ foot waves with a 7 second frequency, sounded interesting but when we arrived the bigger waves were way out back & breaking early. It was a bit of a mess out there & we seriously contemplated going home & coming back another day.

I think though that we all realised that once we were changed & ready to paddle we'd be more enthusiastic so grudgingly, thats what we did :)
I'm glad we did too, it was a fab day, plenty of rough water practice, rolling, unintentional backwards surfing & lots of laughing at each other. Stuart evan pulled off a hand roll.

Looking forward now to the next one.
